I have created a video tutorial in Camtasia 8 on the topic what is in the forest. It is for Class Five Social studies. First, I prepared the lesson in the slides which is in PowerPoint presentation. I have also inserted real pictures of forest, animals, plants and the map of Bhutan in order to get the clear idea for the students. I have used varieties of animations like movement of the forest which is in the form of lungs popularly known as earth lungs which looks realistic in nature. After finishing with the slides, I recorded the slides by recording the screen. While recording I have narrated each and every lines to make the students understand more.
Usage of Materials
The video tutorial that I have created can be used to teach the students about what is in the forest. I am going to use this video tutorial in the lesson input which will guide the students to understand more about the forest where I have narration along with the pictures. Thus, through my video tutorial, students will be able to comprehend well.
Activity Instruction
As I have asked the questions to check the prior knowledge, let them respond after listening to the questions. Then, teacher will connect it with the lesson as it is mentioned in the video. After that let the students go through the video tutorial. In the video tutorial the activity is given where the teacher will ask each individual to locate the types of forest using the map of Bhutan and teacher will give necessary feedbacks.
